(Electrical) at Lahore.

Shifted to present WAPDA building at Faisalabad in 1971.

Supported by GTZ for Modernization & Expansion in 1983.
INTRODUCTION

Acquired the status of WAPDA Engineering Academy in
1988.
-
Water Wing Training Institute shifted from Tarbela to
this Academy in 1989.
-
Supported by CEC (Commission of the European
Communities) for Vocational Training during 1991-93.
-
Introduction of Specific Trainings for Engineers &
Technical Staff of Private Industries in 1999.
(Textile, Fertilizer, Sugar, Electro-Mechanical,
Construction, Power Generation & Process Industries).
