WAPDA Staff College is the most modern training institute with WAPDA. Americans built it in 1993. The classrooms and training facilities are of modern age with grandeur auditorium. Besides the Admin block, hostel and living accommodation for married officers and staff is also built in the premises. WAPDA Staff College Islamabad is now functioning as WAPDA Staff College after absorbing Staff College Lahore and Tarbela Academy since Feb 99.

Some courses have been offered to civil sector on commercial basis. Besides Auditorium has also been offered for conferences, debates and Seminar for Rs 5000/- per function per day.
