The project area is located about 75 km north-west of Skardu town and 670 km north-east of Islamabad.

To design a power house of 33 MW hydropower project to produce mean annual hydroelectricity of 187 GWh.

PRESENT STATUS / PROGRESS  

·        Feasibility study of the project completed with the technical collaboration of GTZ of Germany in 2002.

·        Later on it was decided to update / review the feasibility study from grant of M/s KfW. The contract for update / review of feasibility study will be awarded to Ist ranked consultant as soon as EAD (GoP) and M/s KfW will sign the financing agreement with each other.
