PRESENT STATUS

The CDWP approved the PC-II for feasibility study on
07.03.05 for Rs.196.70 Million including FEC of Rs.
133.900 Million.

Kfw of Germany is providing the financing for
feasibility study of Palas Valley Project
through 5.00 Million Euro Grant.

Consultancy
Agreement with ILF JV was signed on 29.07.2006
Consultancy Agreement with ILF JV was signed on
29.07.2006 and Consultant mobilized in August 2006.

Consultants
submitted Inception Report on 11.11.2006.

A draft phase-I
report comprising 13 volumes for ranking have been
finalized Febraury 29,2008. As per phase-I study,
Lower Palas Valley 621 MW is ranked first and has
been taken up for feasibility study in phase-II.

Feasibility study
will be completed in March 2009.
